About Prayer Time Today

An independent English-language timetable for the five daily prayers, built for Muslims in the UK, North America, Europe, the Gulf, South Asia and everywhere English is the working language of a community.

The site currently covers 399 cities. Each page is generated from coordinates and a named calculation convention — not copied from another country’s printed calendar.

We publish the method in the open: Muslim World League by default, with ISNA, Egyptian Survey, Umm al-Qura, Karachi, Tehran and Jafari available on every city. Standard and Hanafi Asr can be switched independently. A minute offset is there for mosques that print a precaution.

The astronomy is the PrayTimes.org v3.2 algorithm (MIT). PHP computes the first paint for search engines and for people without JavaScript; the same formulae run in the browser so method changes feel instant.

Prayer Time Today is not affiliated with a particular mosque board or ministry of religious affairs. If an official table in your country disagrees, follow that table for congregational prayer and treat this page as a transparent astronomical check.
